First Impressions
Woodlands Regional Library is by far the largest library we’ve visited in Singapore so far. The children’s section takes up the entire 4th floor and is thoughtfully designed with multiple reading zones. There’s a cozy tree-like structure, kid-sized tables for quiet reading, and even a small house designed specifically for children with autism—an inclusive touch we really appreciated.
The children’s book collection is incredibly impressive. We finally found titles we had been searching for in other branches without luck. While the space is large, the ceiling does feel a bit low, which makes it feel more enclosed compared to other libraries.
Family Highlights
The library hosts Early READ Storytime sessions that are especially popular among preschool and early primary school kids. These events are completely free and feature enthusiastic librarians or guest readers who bring books to life through expressive storytelling, songs, and interactive elements. Registration is recommended as spots fill up quickly. The children’s level is designed for exploration and inclusivity, with spaces suited to young readers of all needs.

- ☀️ Rooftop Water Playground – Located on the 7th floor of the mall, free and fun with timed entry (45-minute sessions, capacity-limited, so queues may occur)
- 🍜 Tonkotsu Ramen – Delicious (and slightly pricy) Japanese ramen spot we loved inside the mall
- 🎠 Indoor play zones and enrichment centres inside the mall for added fun and convenience

Nearby Eats
We had lunch at Tonkotsu, and the ramen was absolutely delicious—hands down the best I’ve had in Singapore so far. A bit on the pricey side, but definitely worth it. With so many dining options at Causeway Point, it’s easy to make this library visit part of a full-day family outing.
